His Excellency warmly welcomed the visiting delegation, emphasizing that their presence in the city of Baghdad reflects the strong and brotherly relations between the two countries. He expressed a shared desire to explore new opportunities for joint economic cooperation and strengthen existing partnerships

استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني، صباح اليوم الثلاثاء، وفداً من رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين من دولة قطر الشقيقة، برئاسة الشيخ نواف بن ناصر آل ثاني.
وأكد سيادته خلال اللقاء انفتاح العراق اقتصادياً على محيطه الإقليمي والدولي، والعمل الجاد لتأسيس شراكات بنّاءة في مجال الاستثمار، وذلك في ظل الفرص الاقتصادية المتاحة التي أطلقتها الحكومة، لاسيما في مجال الطاقة المتجددة، والاستثمار الأمثل للغاز المصاحب والبتروكيمياويات.
وأشار السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء إلى الإجراءات العديدة التي اتخذتها الحكومة منذ بداية تشكيلها، في سبيل توفير بيئة استثمارية ملائمة وجاذبة سواء للمستثمر المحلي أو للمستثمرين من خارج العراق، مؤكداً جدية الحكومة في تحقيق نهضة اقتصادية تعزز مسار التنمية في البلد.
من جانبه، عبر رئيس وفد رجال الأعمال القطري الشيخ نواف بن ناصر آل ثاني عن امتنانه للقاء السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وحرص الحكومة على التعاون مع الشركات القطرية الكبرى، وأكد أعضاء الوفد الاستعداد للعمل في العراق، وإيجاد شراكات ستراتيجية مع رجال الأعمال والقطاع الخاص في العراق الذي أصبح بيئة رحبة للاستثمار.
