From Damascus to St. Petersburg, Aveen has journeyed far in the pursuit of her dreams 🇸🇾

After completing her Bachelor’s degree, Aveen chose to study for a Master’s in system and applied software at ITMO.

On what motivated her to study software engineering, Aveen explains:

Since childhood, I have been highly interested in science and technology. I was particularly passionate about physics. Later I found out that this field is very diverse and software is gaining huge popularity in this era. So I decided to gain expertise in this area.

This weekend, we invite you on a poetic journey around the world with talented students of ITMO’s summer school and special guests!

All attendees can share poems from their home countries! If you’re a poet yourself, we’d love to hear your works, both in their original language and translated 🎤

In addition to the on-site event, there’s going to be a Zoom broadcast, so your friends around the world can join the gathering, too!
