As much as we know about cells, biology, organs, and diseases, it’s really just the surface of the truth. This is one of the reasons why designing drugs and cures isn’t as easy as people might expect. Uncovering this hidden knowledge is the spark that I hope to follow for the rest of my academic career.

The university has been ranked first in Russia for employability among math graduates, according to the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science and the Social Fund of Russia.

Byeibitkhan Khalifa, a Master’s student from Mongolia, is exploring exactly that — blending neuroscience with AI at ITMO.

I’ve been amazed at how concepts from neuroscience translate directly into AI models. Seeing how ideas like learning, adaptation, and pattern recognition work in machines has been both exciting and unexpected.
