Meet Bahadir Artvin, a Bachelor’s student at ITMO, pursuing system and applied software. On why he chose ITMO, Bahadir shares:
I wanted to challenge myself and experience a different educational system. Russia has a strong reputation in engineering and technology, and ITMO stood out because of its modern approach to education, strong focus on practical skills, and international community. I also liked that ITMO is well-connected with the tech industry, which gives students great opportunities for the future.

We’re saying goodbye to summer… only to welcome an even more eventful fall 🍂
And beyond studies, there were plenty of ITMO moments to remember. We went cycling with the rector, celebrated two graduations – one with our Foundation Program students and another at ITMO Family Day, our biggest festival of the year – and, of course, had an unforgettable time at Yagodnoe.
