in our third and last day in shangri-la, cleo and i left xto in town and we headed to one of my toughest hikes yet.

we went up to over 4400m (highest i've ever been) to see the abuji lake, which unfortunately was cloudy and barely visible. it took us around 9h to complete the hike but the views, despite the mist, was very pretty

fun fact: there were people passing us multiple times on their motorbikes checking that we were still alive and that we didn't need assistance. thankfully we didn't need and they ended up inviting us to their little resting hut were we had authentic yunnan pu'er tea!! 🍵

i ended up completely exhausted, soaked, literally shivering and with more height sickness 😵‍💫

(but very happy with myself)
