2023年10月19日 our last day in beijing & china 😢 we started the day with some typical beijing pastries, had (fancy) lunch with regyna, visited a huge temple complex trying to get good luck for the move to europe...
... walked some more, saw xto's birthplace (the hospital where he was born, since he's been on the go since he was a child, this is the closest thing to his "hometown"), had dinner to a nice pekin duck place that mariano rajoy seems to had enjoyed back in 2014, got some soju for predrinks ahead of checking Destination out (it was very lame on that day 😢 )

and with that... a chapter closed a new one opened. off we went to the netherlands!
it was nice to have shipped our heavy suitcases to beijing from chongqing. we only used the carry on for the trip and we simply picked them up on the airport after our china adventure was over
