- booked our airbnb in almere seeing that two weeks that we got at the hotel weren't going to be enough to find an apartment... 🏠
- thijmen & fabiënne hosted us for a welcome to NL dinner with mushroom & meatball stamppot as well as showing us the proper way to eat stroopwafel by placing it on top of a tea mug 🥺
- tried herring for the first time and to the surprise of no-one xto loved it while i did not... 🐟
- eating out every meal was really annoying but we got to try local dutch eateries in almere to get a sense of what people here actually eat like... (not tasty) 🥗

and to finish the month... i started my new job at Q42!

a dutch digital agency working in all sort of mobile & web projects like HEMA, PostNL, Rijksmuseum and more!

i was very nervous but the first day went well! everyone was very nice (and REALLY TALL!) and despite being the only non-dutch speaker i felt very welcomed. sebas (a spaniard that does speak dutch) was my onboarding buddy and he definitely made me feel at ease. the first project i would be working on was HeartEye a portable ECG scanner ❤️
