🔹 Plant Details
• CFBC Plant Capacity: 2 × 135 MW
• Boiler: CVL Make CFBC Boiler – 450 TPH

🔹 Role Requirements
• Experience: 14–16 years in Operations (CFBC Plant preferred)
• Education: BE / B. Tech – Mechanical
• Preferred: BOE, Operation Certificate, and candidates trained from NPTI
• Location: Korba, Chhattisgarh
🔹 Key Responsibilities
(1) Strong understanding of Thermal Power Plant
(2) CFBC Boiler (450 TPH) 135 MW Single rotor turbine
(3) BFP, CEP, HT & LT Compressors CW Pumps, Vacuum Pumps ESP and Ash Handling System
(4) Preferred Experience in 2×135 MW or similar capacity power plants
(5) Practical knowledge of SOPs, safety procedures, emergency handling, and shift Management
(6) Strong skills in troubleshooting, system monitoring, and coordination with field/maintenance teams
(7) Good understanding of operational parameters to ensure plant availability, reliability, and efficiency

Role Overview:

The Shift In-Charge - Electrical Maintenance will support operations to ensure uninterrupted production in line with the Annual Business Plan. The role involves managing breakdowns and maintenance activities across the SMS area, including BOF, KR, GCP, LF, RH, Cranes, Scrap Yard, and Slag Yard.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

* Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of:

* 33 kV/6.6 kV switchboards, HV/MV breakers, relays & protection systems

* MV & LV motors and drives

* Ladle Furnace & Power Distribution Transformers

* 415V PCC & MCC, crane electrics

* PLC systems & instrumentation (BOF, Dedusting, KR, ESP)

* Sub-lance, oxygen & temperature measurement systems

* Weighing, conveyor, and material handling systems

* Implement preventive & condition-based maintenance for static and dynamic equipment

* Reduce MTTR and improve MTBF to enhance equipment availability

* Develop and implement SOPs, change management initiatives

* Ensure safety & environmental compliance

* Lead, guide, and develop technicians and team members
