I wanna teach you a common way natives use the word 'sell' to mean 'convince'.

sell = convince (the persuader's action)

sell someone on something — convince someone that an idea/product is good
She sold me on taking the course.

be sold on something — be convinced or enthusiastic about it
I’m not fully sold on this plan yet.
I'm not sold on this idea yet. (not convinced)
have smone sold - The location had me sold

sell someone something — persuade someone to accept an idea
He tried to sell us the idea of moving abroad.

sell yourself — present yourself persuasively, especially in an interview
You need to sell yourself confidently in the interview.

sell someone short — underestimate someone
Don’t sell yourself short.

📌One of the most challenging Passage 3s out there! Make sure to complete and analyze it properly.
