I'm a Kennedy supporter.
As you can tell from my pinned post, I’ve felt for a few weeks now that I might have to choose between Trump and Harris.
The vibe shifted when Harris was tagged in.
I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I think I will vote for a Republican for the first time in my life in November.
And his name is Donald Trump.
I simply can’t support the results of the Biden/Harris administration or the process the Democrats used to select their new candidate.
We’re not in Kansas anymore.
I hope the big guest I have on Monday (prominent progressive thought leader) doesn’t cancel on me if and when she sees this post.

Has anyone visited the court house to find out what the owner of the La Quinta Inn and the Denny's paid for the properties in Lenexa and compared what they sold them for to Johnson County?
While the property for the hotel would be expected to have gone up, how much did it sell for, does anyone know?
And the Denny's there has sat empty for many years, it is likely full of mice and bugs, and would not be worth nearly as much having sat empty for years.
The county usually is 3-4% within the appraisal value with county property tax value.
What was the county tax appraised value of the hotel and the Denny's the years prior to the county buying them?
Who was the owner of the La Quinta and the Denny's?
Have they made any campaign donations to any board members who voted to buy the properties?
Is there any family or friends relation of the property owners to the board of commissioners?
Has the board of Commissioners said what lead to them wanting to buy those properties for this project?
Would be interesting to know if there is any story to it all that has not yet been reported.
