• The system, likely to be named Milton, and is forecasted to move eastward across the Gulf, potentially making landfall in Florida as a significant storm.

• ‘Predictions’ suggest it could approach Florida as a Category 2 or 3 hurricane, bringing with it torrential rains and the risk of flooding due to heavy rainfall, expected from the Interstate 4 corridor southward.
