Good evening from the rainy and windy Far East! Sorry for keeping silent for so long, it's been two exhausting days of struggle with jet lag, crazy university meetings, railway ticket vending machines and sinister-looking food at the local supermarket. This time I have quite a lot to tell you so I'm switching to a long read mode, hope you'll find it convenient. Here's the story of my first day in Japan! http://telegra.ph/Doubting-the-Reality-of-Reality-04-06

Doubting the Reality of Reality
After boarding the 13:00 train from Narita airport on Wednesday I lost my breath nearly every two minutes because of a weird feeling that continued to bug me until the next day. I was seriously doubting the reality of what I saw and heard, something I'd experiencedβ¦

Konbanwa, everyone! My next story is actually almost done but there is some trouble with the dorm wifi so I cannot post anything from my computer since yesterday and my sim doesn't support the hotspot thing. Instead I've got lots of photos of my cute suburban neighborhood to share with you for now. Best wishes from Matsudo town!
Konnichiwa, guys! I'm late again but there are just too many things to handle lately. First of all I'd like to thank you for your support and encouraging replies to my first story. I'm still feeling a little bit confused and lonely here so I will be glad to continue hearing from everyone. Even though I met lots of fellow students at the university, there wasn't any time to get to know anyone better and the Japanese seem kinda hard to approach. Nevertheless, I already got several funny stories to tell you + tons of photos.
The first one is about Tokyo University of the Arts, or Geidai, in general. It is different from Politecnico di Milano (or any other university I've been to) in so many ways that I don't know where to start. Therefore, this chapter might be a bit long and if you're not that interested in educational peculiarities of Japan then you can just skim through the photos and wait for my next post about a penguin stolen from Ueno Zoo and an eccentric murder in one of Tokyo's Shinto shrines. It's going to be shorter and more intense, I promise! http://telegra.ph/Just-Do-Your-Own-Thing-04-10

Just Do Your Own Thing
When I went to Geidai at the end of my first day in Tokyo, most of the offices were already closed so I only managed to sign some documents concerning my stay at the dormitory in the administration. It's been already four months since I was officially admittedβ¦
