Quarantine Day 14

It’s the last day so I finally gathered all my courage and went to the local red-light district again to take pics of the facades. The doormen were extremely scary: some of them almost approached me but when they saw that I was taking pictures only of the top of the buildings and mostly ignored the entrances, they calmed down and turned away. I tried to behave as touristy and naive as possible but it’s still pretty dangerous to do something like that (rich clients can get very nervous), so please don’t try to repeat this…
Freedom Day 1

After moving to Kyoto last year I almost forgot how much I loved walking around Yoyogi station and Shibuya area in general. Railway tracks, hills, cats, fancy 'mansions' and sometimes lonely abandoned townhouses — a perfect combination for anime backgrounds.
Bonus: Japanese cats and their extra serious faces.
As gentle as it can be for anime backgrounds, Tokyo is intense and unforgiving if you are tired from walking or missed the last train. Most land is private — it's hard to find benches, public parks or other spaces designed for rest.
