Kyiv or Kiev? Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has reignited a conversation around how to pronounce the country’s capital.

In short, “Kyiv” aligns with the Ukrainian language, whereas “Kiev” comes from Russian. But the difference between the two words isn’t so much about spelling as it is about history. National video reporter Hannah Jewell explains why.

Today is the 100 day of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

During this time, russian army captured Kherson and Mariupol. They also occupied part of the Kiev region, Chernihiv region and Sumy region, which we managed to take back. Turkey buys Ukrainian grain stolen by russia, - Reuters

Kyiv Ambassador to Ankara Vasyl Bodnar said that Turkey is one of the countries that buys grain stolen by russia from Ukraine.

Bodnar also turned to the Turkish authorities and Interpol for help in investigating those involved in the transit of grain through Turkish waters.
