So to believe in the message - when a hadeeth comes to you - you should accept it. As Allah mentions in the Quran “ But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.”

And the messenger used to speech concisely - and much can be understood from it. And much can be extrapolated from it. And a person should remain silent when he speaks to understand the matter fully.

There is a disapproval of three matters:
1) Gossiping and Qeel wa Qaal.
2) Random unbeneficial questioning.
3) wastage of wealth

So therefore a Muslim should be mindful and aware and not speak excessively on affairs nor ask questions that are of no benefit.

Statement of Ibn Abbas - Glad Tidings are given to the person at the time of death.

If a person is a believer - he will receive the glad tidings of the mercy of Allah and Jannah

And if he is a Kaafir he is informed of the anger of Allah and the Hell Fire

After this a person will not die except that he knows what his abode will be. And it’s not possible then for him to make Tawbah (repentance) or remove the sins from himself or increase in the actions or provisions.

Whatever the person had at that point is cut off.
So if a person dies upon shirk so that’s what he is upon.
And if a person died upon a sin before he made tawbah, then he under the will of Allah in terms of punishment. And that punishment would be a purification.

Tawbah: is the best way of purification. Regret is a way of seeing that tawbah.

As for if a person has oppressed an individual. He should return that right to the individual.

A person may then exit the hellfire due to punishment which is purification. Or the shafaa- intercession and Allahs mercy.
