Verses of the Quran are divided into different types:
- clear
- unclear only known by Allah or others firm in knowledge
- reminders
- good news
- etc

When Allah gives us a reminder he may do so by telling us of benefits from worshipping him in this life. Or by warning us as to what happened to those who disobeyed.

Surah Al Fatiha has in it
- encouragement to worship Allah and do good
- warning or pulling you back from something or some evil

On many occasions we know what is praiseworthy then it is to be between these two affairs.

So we stay between hope and fear

Don’t focus just on making yourself or you children afraid - that doesn’t help. Instead have a middle path between fear and hope of Allahs reward.

The messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) didn’t like things to be made hard. He described the religion as easy.
