Keeping LetMeSpeak Ecosystem Clean from Fraud.

Thank you all for the overwhelming positive response to the LetMeSpeak Learn & Earn metaverse and driving it forward.

We want LMS ecosystem to be a safe place for all people to learn and earn.

Over the last week we identified 256 NFTs that used bots to earn without learning. In the long term, such fraudulent behavior can have a negative effect on the ecosystem. We are committed to keeping LMS metaverse clean from such bad actors.

We have banned these users from the LMS economy: their NFTs won’t be able to earn any more and won’t be sellable on LMS Marketplace.

We will continue to monitor and take measures to protect the ecosystem from fraud. Over time, we look forward to LMS DAO looking after this.

Biggest problem in online education is motivation.

Here are 3 things we are working on right now to make the LMS Economy more rewarding:

Only users are now selling NFTs on market.letmespeak.org (no primary sales from LMS). Effective from 7 April until 30th April ‘22. This may change if NFT prices are more than 15% higher than our base NFT prices stated in the https://medium.com/@letmespeak/f95a31ae0ef8

The first set of Bonus Rewards will be effective from Monday onwards! The higher your NFTs XP level is, the higher your daily rewards will be, up to 20% higher. Details to follow.

Invites are going to be more rewarding this month. You will get a 10% Discount on all Invites after the first one. You will also need to wait only 30 minutes (instead of 3 days) between Invites. Effective from 13th April until 30th April.

Your NFT Character’s Skills now increase your rewards!

As you get higher XP levels the Skills of your Character grow & rewards grow too. Check your Skills bonus rewards rate in the app after the next update this week. Bonus applies starting from now.

Calculation formula: % bonus rewards = (weighted average for skills used for type of training)*0.0007.

Example: if you practice words and your NFT has 190 Vocab & 130 Pronunciation & 110 Listening, you can calculate it as (0.429*190+0.286*130+0.286*110)*0,0007 = 11,2% bonus LSTARs.

Here is a table with examples of average bonus % from Skills for different Rarities and XP levels.

Hi there! We are now working on the scholarship system that will enhance your user experience and allow more people to join the LMS Metaverse.

This requires us to introduce a slight change to the system. Your educational progress will soon be connected to your email address (instead of your NFTs). If you use multiple NFTs or share your account with another person (which is strongly discouraged), your progress will be merged.

If you want to have separate progress for each of your NFTs, please make sure you’ve created new accounts and new wallets for them.
