Based on my personal experience in life so far, I’ve come to the conclusion that anything that releases dopamine is addictive—no matter how hard or weird it is.
It could be physical activities like weightlifting or walking, or mental activities like reading and learning.
Therefore, we just need to reprogram our reward system to form new habits. At first, walking 10 km a day might feel difficult, but eventually, one would feel empty if they couldn’t reach that number.
