🚘 We recently inspected over 300 motorcyclists along Admiralty Road West in a joint op with the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Traffic Police on 15 July 2026.

Of these, we spotted 35 vehicle-related offences, including:
🚨Improper number plates
🚨Invalid Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP)
🚨Invalid road tax and insurance

Know the penalties for these offences:

🚘 Improper number plates and non-payment of VEP: Up to $1,000 fine and/or 3 months' imprisonment. Repeat offenders face double the penalties.

🚙Invalid road tax: Fines up to $2000 or an amount 3 times the tax payable, if the offender's proven to intentionally evade tax chargeable.

We will continue to take action against offenders to keep our roads safe for all.

🚌🚇🚲 We all use transport. But we don't all experience it the same way.

As part of the second phase of the Land Transport Master Plan (#LTMP) Refresh, we engaged Singaporeans through thematic focus group discussions and shadowing studies to explore specific transport issues and themes in greater depth. Across four key themes, from Access to Cars & Alternatives to Public Transport to Making Public Transport More Inclusive, these conversations will help shape the future of our transport system.

Planning your journey just got easier 📱🚆✨

From today, commuters will be notified of real-time train disruptions on Google Maps when they search for a journey.

What’s changed? During train disruptions, LTA currently announces via MyTransport and the LTA website if the delay is minor or major, depending on the estimated length of service delay and factors such as the length of the sector affected. While this provides a useful indication of the overall impact, the actual delay experienced varies depending on where each commuter is travelling to and from.

This enhancement builds on our ongoing efforts to improve commuter information, including our centralised train status page at mytransport.sg/trainstatus 💻, improved wayfinding signage on trial at Serangoon MRT station 🚉, and planned service adjustments information on Google Maps.

We hope this will help you make more informed travel decisions on the go.

🚗 Exciting updates for Punggol's autonomous (#AV) shuttle services!

After hearing from residents, LTA has been working with the operators, ComfortDelGro and Grab, to make AV rides more flexible and convenient.

With Grab's upcoming pilot which will commence in the next few months, commuters will be able to book an AV on demand to travel between the existing designated stops on Grab’s Routes 1 and 3. Instead of following a fixed route, the AV will take the most direct path to your destination, providing a more direct and convenient journey. 🛣️

In the meantime, existing fixed-route services will continue to operate alongside the enhanced on-demand service, giving commuters more travel options while continuing to serve those who prefer the fixed routes. 🎉

Stay tuned for more details! 👀

Westies, this one (might) be for you! 👋😉

With Tuas South growing into a major industrial hub, we’re exploring how to better meet its growing commuting needs.🚆

…Introducing the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)! 🚌 BRT is a medium-capacity transport mode that can travel faster and carry more passengers than conventional buses.

📝 We’ll be studying the feasibility of implementing this in Tuas South, so stay tuned!
