HOW NFT WL / GTD GIVEAWAYS WORK

1. What is WL (Whitelist)?

A Whitelist (WL) = early access to mint an NFT before the public.
• You mint cheaper (e.g. free mint or 0.03 ETH instead of 0.08 ETH)
• You get guaranteed access (no gas wars, no missing out)

👉 Think of it like a VIP pre-sale.

⸻

2. What is GTD (Guaranteed Mint)?

A GTD is even stronger than WL.
• WL = you can mint early
• GTD = you are guaranteed a spot to mint

👉 No stress or competition. You’re locked in.

⸻

3. How Giveaways Work

Projects or influencers run giveaways like:
• “RT + Follow + Tag 3 friends”
• “Join Discord + be active”
• “Create content about the project”

🎁 Winners get:
• WL spots
• GTD spots
• Sometimes free mints

⸻

💰 HOW PEOPLE ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY

Now the important part…

1. Flip on Mint (Quick Profit)
• You win WL → mint cheap
• NFT launches → hype pushes price up
• You sell immediately

Example:
• Mint price: Free or let’s say 0.05 ETH
• Floor price after launch: 0.2 ETH
• Profit: 0.15 ETH per NFT

👉 This is called mint flipping

⸻

2. Sell the WL Spot (Before Mint)

Some projects allow WL trading (or indirectly):
• You win a rare WL spot
• Someone offers to pay you for it

⚠️ Not always allowed, but happens a lot OTC

⸻

3. Farm Giveaways at Scale

This is where real grinders win:
• Enter many giveaways daily
• Increase odds of winning
• Stack multiple WLs

👉 More WL = more chances to flip profit

⸻

4. Content = More Wins

Projects LOVE exposure.

If you:
• Make threads
• Create memes
• Post consistently

You get:
• WL faster
• GTD spots
• Sometimes paid roles

👉 Attention = leverage

⸻

5. Hold for Bigger Plays (Riskier)

Instead of flipping:
• Hold NFT long term
• Wait for roadmap delivery (utility, hype, partnerships)

👉 Higher reward…

⸻

🧠 HOW TO BE SMART ABOUT IT

Focus on:
• Strong community (active Discord/Twitter)
• Good storytelling / branding
• Influencers actually talking about it
• Reasonable supply + mint price

⸻

🔥 SIMPLE STRATEGY (BEGINNER)
1. Enter 20–50 giveaways daily
2. Focus on quality projects only
3. Aim to win 3–5 WL weekly
4. Flip 70% on mint
5. Hold 30% for upside

⸻

TIP:

Follow the project with notifications on so as not to miss mint date and price announcements

💭 FINAL TRUTH

WL or GTD giveaways can either be free or not

But the people making money are:
• Consistent
• Early
• Visible
• Strategic
