Even though the ball on the table is at stationery, there are still forces acting on it. What are those forces and how they cancel each other?
Even when a ball is stationary on a table, several forces are acting on it, and these forces can be described as follows:

1. Gravitational Force (Weight): This is the force acting downward due to gravity. It is equal to the mass of the ball multiplied by the acceleration due to gravity (F_gravity = m * g, where g β‰ˆ 9.81 m/sΒ²).

2. Normal Force: This is the force exerted by the table on the ball, acting perpendicular to the surface of the table. The normal force counteracts the gravitational force. When the ball is stationary, the normal force is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the gravitational force (F_normal = m * g).

In a state of equilibrium, these two forces cancel each other out:

β€’ The gravitational force pulls the ball downward.
β€’ The normal force from the table pushes upward.

Since the ball is not moving, the net force acting on it is zero. This means that:

Fβ‚™β‚‘β‚œ = Fβ‚™β‚’α΅£β‚˜β‚β‚— - F_(gravity) = 0

This balance of forces allows the ball to remain stationary on the table. If any other forces were to act on the ball (like a push or pull), they would need to be considered to understand how they would affect its state of motion.
