🇺🇿🇩🇿 5 октября министр инвестиций, промышленности и торговли Республики Узбекистан Лазиз Кудратов провёл встречу с министром горнодобывающей промышленности Алжирской Народной Демократической Республики Мурадом Ханифи.

🟠Стороны обсудили перспективы сотрудничества в геологии и геологоразведке, горнодобывающей и металлургической промышленности, а также инвестиционное и институциональное взаимодействие.

🟠Особое внимание уделено трансферу технологий, внедрению современных методов геологического моделирования, совместному изучению перспективных месторождений лития, тантала, ниобия и других редких элементов, а также подготовке специалистов.

🟠Рассмотрены возможности реализации проектов по локальной переработке целого ряда металлов, а также обмена опытом с Алмалыкским и Навоийским горно-металлургическими комбинатами.

🟠Предложено создать профильную рабочую группу в рамках будущей межправительственной комиссии и подготовить межведомственное соглашение.

🇺🇿🇩🇿 On 5 October, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Minister of Mining Industry of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Mourad Hanifi.

🟠The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in geology and geological exploration, the mining and metallurgical industries, as well as investment and institutional cooperation.

🟠Particular attention was given to technology transfer, the introduction of modern geological modelling methods, the joint exploration of promising deposits of lithium, tantalum, niobium and other rare elements, as well as specialist training.

🟠The parties considered opportunities to implement projects for the local processing of a range of metals and to exchange expertise with the Almalyk and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Complexes.

🟠It was proposed to establish a sectoral working group within the future Intergovernmental Commission and prepare an interagency agreement.

🟠В ходе встречи рассмотрены текущее состояние и перспективы развития торгово-экономического сотрудничества между двумя странами. Подчеркнута важность ускорения реализации портфеля инвестиционных проектов по целому ряду направлений.

🟠Отмечено, что с 4 июля авиакомпания «Oman Air» выполняет два регулярных прямых рейса в неделю по маршруту Маскат–Ташкент, что способствует дальнейшему развитию деловых связей между странами.

🟠По итогам встречи стороны договорились своевременно завершить подготовку к запланированным двусторонним мероприятиям, обеспечить практическое продвижение достигнутых договорённостей и продолжить системную работу по расширению торгово-экономического и инвестиционного сотрудничества между Узбекистаном и Оманом.

🇺🇿🇴🇲On October 6, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with H.E. Wafa Jabr Nasir Al-Busaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

🟠The meeting addressed the current state and prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The importance of accelerating the implementation of the investment project portfolio across a number of sectors was emphasized.

🟠It was noted that since July 4, Oman Air has operated two regular direct flights per week on the Muscat–Tashkent route, contributing to the further development of business ties between the two countries.

🟠Following the meeting, the parties agreed to timely complete preparations for the planned bilateral events, ensure the practical advancement of the agreements reached, and continue systematic efforts to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman.

🟠During the meeting, the parties reviewed key areas of Uzbek-German partnership in social and infrastructure development, as well as prospects for further expanding bilateral cooperation.

🟠Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming Intergovernmental Negotiations on Financial and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Republic of Germany for 2026–2027. The parties discussed promising projects in the areas of the green economy, vocational education, energy, quality infrastructure, public administration and social protection.

🟠During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the implementation of new joint projects in the pharmaceutical, industrial, energy, geology and mining, and food industries.

🟠The parties also discussed the upcoming meeting of the Uzbek-Swiss Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation, as well as the organization of the “Days of Switzerland” in Uzbekistan.

🟠Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen the Uzbek-Swiss economic partnership and develop practical cooperation.
