Join us for an online tour of Pushkin's places in Russia and abroad. Together with Sofia Spiridonova, curator of the Sirius International Friendship Club and art historian, we will explore the main locations associated with the poet's life and examine how his work is reflected in 20th-century Russian culture.

The lecture will take place on June 6th at 6:30 PM Moscow time — on the birthday of Alexander Pushkin. And since 2011, this date has also been the Day of the Russian Language in Russia, established in honor of the great poet.

The event's name is a reference to a book written in the 1960s. If you know the author's last name, write it in the comments!

On June 6, 1799, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was born in Moscow—our everything; the sun of Russian poetry; the founder of the modern Russian literary language.

We asked a neural network to draw a picture with characters from the great poet's fairy tales. Take a careful look at the image and write in the comments which characters actually appeared in Pushkin's fairy tales, and which ones were invented by the lazy neural network that didn't go to school.
