The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to inform the public as well as members of national and international media as follows:

On Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:20 a.m., the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) facilitated the ASEAN Observer Team in Cambodia (AOT-KH) in conducting an observation mission to monitor, verify, and report on the situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border at CH1 Checkpoint, located in Thma Da Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province, where Thai troops had moved their observation post and continued digging trenches forward, approximately 20 metres from their previous position. The mission also aims to assess compliance with and implementation of all measures set out in the Joint Statement following the entry into force of the ceasefire.

Cambodia continues to fully support the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) and emphasizes the indispensable need to strengthen its role and mandate to verify and ensure the full and effective implementation of the ceasefire and all measures agreed upon between Cambodia and Thailand, to promote transparency and accountability.

In this regard, the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia calls on the Thai side to adhere strictly, in good faith and with sincerity, to the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC), dated December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, dated October 26, 2025, and other relevant agreements, with the aim of finding a peaceful, just, and lasting solution in accordance with international law, as well as existing treaties and agreements between the two countries.

The Royal Government and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reaffirm our firm, sincere, and unwavering commitment to fully and faithfully respect and implement the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on October 26, 2025, and all other relevant agreements. This commitment is made with the aim of ensuring rapid recovery and restoring normalcy, and long-lasting peace and stability.

The public, as well as national and international journalists, are hereby informed of the facts regarding this matter.

នៅថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ទី៥ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ វេលាម៉ោង ១០:៥០នាទីព្រឹក មិញនេះ ក្រុមអ្នកសម្របសម្រួល (CLG) នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានសម្របសម្រួលជូនក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ានប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា (ASEAN Observer Team - Cambodia: AOT-KH) ដើម្បីចុះសង្កេតការណ៍ ផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ និងរាយការណ៍អំពីស្ថានភាពតាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ នៅតំបន់អូរភ្លុកដំរី ស្ថិតក្នុងឃុំថ្មដា ស្រុកវាលវែង ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ដែលជាទីតាំងរងការវាយប្រហារ និងកំពុងកាន់កាប់ដោយខុសច្បាប់របស់យោធាថៃ និងពិនិត្យលើការគោរព និងការអនុវត្តវិធានការទាំងអស់ក្នុងសេចក្តីប្រកាសរួមក្រោយបទឈប់បាញ់ចូលជាធរមាន។

សូមគូសបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជាប្រកាន់ជំហរយ៉ាងម៉ឺងម៉ាត់ក្នុងការការពារខ្សែព្រំដែនអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ដែលបន្សល់ទុកដោយគណៈកម្មការព្រំដែនឥណ្ឌូចិន-សៀម ដោយគោរពគោលការណ៍ច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ គោលការណ៍ខ្សែព្រំដែនមិនកែប្រែ (Uti Possidetis Juris) គោរពអនុសញ្ញា សន្ធិសញ្ញាបារាំង-សៀម ផែនទី និងកំណត់ហេតុបោះបង្គោលព្រំដែនរបស់គណៈកម្មការបោះបង្គោលព្រំដែនឥណ្ឌូចិន-សៀម ព្រមទាំងកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង និងឯកសារពាក់ព័ន្ធនានាដែលភាគីទាំងពីរបានឯកភាពគ្នានាពេលកន្លងមក។ កម្ពុជាមិនទទួលស្គាល់ជាដាច់ខាតនូវការកែប្រែខ្សែព្រំដែនណាមួយដែលកើតចេញពីការប្រើប្រាស់កម្លាំងនោះឡើយ។
