Betting that this week we break up - my major of choice after much reflection is $ETH. After swearing off ever touching it in later 2024 and early 2025, I recognize now that the positioning and tailwinds for ETH have changed significantly. These can be summarized below:

1. Materially lighter positioning after the Apr 2025 nuke - Full blown capitulation from both traders and OG whales brought ETH from 4k to 1.3k with ETHBTC tagging multi-year lows at 0.018. Since then, ETH has traded very differently vs the last 2 years. I rarely see people outside developers still mention $ETH as a core bet, and most traders I speak to simply refuse to touch it. All this means is that on a HTF structural basis, positioning for $ETH is as light as it's ever been in the last 3 years.

2. $ETH will be the infra / stablecoin bet for major institutions and TradFi - This has been touted by many recently and my initial reaction was 'oh fuck off mate' (I'm wondering how many of you reading this also had this reaction). However if you objectively think about the latest regulatory developments being aggressively pushed from the US, sooner or later institutions will want more than just BTC. ETH today is home to 90%+ of all stablecoins and very likely will continue to be the main chain that secures this TVL. Any retard can see the stablecoin boom that is upcoming and it makes very little commercial sense to deviate away from ETH given the higher risks involved in using other L1s. Now throw in Tom Lee who is just autistic enough to mimic Saylor but also convincing to hold TradFi's view that you now have your PGL to rally behind. I was initially very skeptical of this but have come round to this view given the massive TradFi appetite for crypto equities + the stablecoin bills being passed in the US.

3. ETH has a lot of catching up to do price wise to BTC - This by itself means nothing, but can be quickly meme'd once momentum begins to take hold. TradFi is generally stupid - this means that shilling the angle of 'you can still be early by buying ETH' is not a completely stupid take, because of who the marginal buyer is. Moving ETH back to ATH (~85% move) will only bring ETHBTC back to 0.044, which is where it was in Sep 2024. Even if ETHBTC doesn't break up and I'm completely wrong, BTC breaking above 110k likely signals for the bull market to resume and ETH has very rarely underperformed in those time periods. ETH weakenss generally comes when BTC begins to stall or when BTC starts dropping.

I've thought pretty hard about this and remain convinced that on a structural MTF basis, the bet for ETH is clear and I have positioned myself accordingly.

브릿지를 얼마나 하건 입금을 얼마나 하건 쟤내 입장에서 쓴 수수료로 생각하면 마음편함

그래서 돈 좀 거하게 써주기로 결심함
오늘 마침 유닛 총거래량 8b 돌파했다고 뜸
그래서 하루 spot 내가 정한 양 거래하는거 시뮬레이션해보니 몇달 정도면 현 추세로 봤을 때 총거래량 1% 채우는데 두달이면 됨

견적은 1000hype 스테이킹한 상태로 하루 거래량 채우면서 수수료 계산해보니 90일동안 대략 5만불 이상 쓸듯

대충 90일 하루루틴에 포함시켜서 spot 사팔사팔하면서 할거임

돈넣고 돈먹는 방식이니까 각자 잘 견적내서 하면 되고 유닛쪽에서는 아무것도 발표한 바 없으니 리스크가 있는 방식임

그냥 나는 저렇게 할거임
브릿지하고 자산갖다두고 이런거 가성비 영역에서는 몰라도 내가봤을 땐 크게 의미없음

수수료로 펑펑써서 돈벌게해주면 그만치 주겠지뭐
아니면 죽으면그만이야
