📌 3 Parent Baby

👉🏻 Three parent baby is a technique used to prevent the transmission of certain genetic disorders from a mother to her child.

👉🏻 Three-parent baby, human offspring produced from the genetic material of one man and two women through the use of assisted reproductive technologies, specifically mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT) and three-person in vitro fertilization (IVF).

👉🏻 This technique involves transferring the nucleus from the mother's egg (containing her genetic material) to a donor egg that has had its nucleus removed.

👉🏻 The resulting egg, containing genetic material from both the mother and the donor, is then fertilized with the father's sperm and implanted into the mother's womb.

👉🏻 The resulting child is born with genetic material from three people: the mother, the father, and the egg donor.
