Not all disabilities are immediately apparent, so it’s important to be understanding towards others and not judge too quickly.
As we celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities today, some of our friends with disabilities share their personal reflections on this year’s theme “Not All Disabilities Are Visible”. Let’s strive towards a more inclusive society, one that removes barriers for those with disabilities. #InclusiveSG

Season’s Greetings from our MSF family! May the festive season bring warmth and joy to you and your loved ones.
This soft pastel painting was created by Regine, a Singapore Association for Mental Health artist who is diagnosed with depression and uses art to express her emotions. As we inch towards the new year, let’s continue to show care to those around us who may need help, and build a more inclusive community together.

We are dedicating 2021 as the Year of Celebrating SG Women. Our women’s contributions are integral to our Singapore Story, and this year, we will look back at the progress of our women. We will also celebrate how they have shaped our homes, schools, workplaces and communities – improving every aspect of our society.
We also want to recognise the men who have addressed societal stereotypes through their active role in supporting and uplifting our women.
Join us by taking part in the Conversations on Singapore Women’s Development (go.gov.sg/sgwomen), where you can share your aspirations for women’s progress in Singapore. We look forward to your ideas on how we can shift societal mindsets for a more inclusive society for our men and women.
