After 42 years of hosting solemnisations and celebrating unions, the Registry of Marriages (ROM) and Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) building at Canning Rise will be undergoing redevelopment in 2025.

From 14 April, ROM and ROMM will operate from the interim site at Level 3 of Esplanade Mall. Appointment and solemnisation bookings will be automatically transferred to the new venue, and affected couples will be notified.
