Our MSF Family has been visiting preschools and social service agencies this week to support them in the implementation of enhanced precautionary measures, in light of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation. We thank our partners for their preparedness and their hard work. We will reach out to more of them in the coming days to take in their feedback so that we can continue to improve some of our processes.
In light of developments involving the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.
With effect from tomorrow, 5 Feb 2020:
(a) Large group and communal activities such as assemblies, excursions, field trips and mass celebrations will be suspended.
(b) Health checks and temperature screening for all children, staff and visitors will continue. We will increase the frequency of temperature taking for children and staff.
These measures also apply to our social services for vulnerable groups, including our residential facilities and disability day activity centres.
Letโs stand together to protect our families and children!
