Article 99 of the Indian Constitution
Rajya Sabha Members took oath administered by Chairman Rajya Sabha (on behalf of the President of India). The format of oath is given in Schedule 3 of the Indian Constitution.
1. Birendra Prashad Baishya (He took oath in Assamese - Schedule 8 Language)

This term is not mentioned in the Constitution. It is basically a sort of adjournment decided by the Presiding officer of the House as per the Rules of Procedure of the House.
Parliament will have a recess from 12-17th August for Independence Day.

Sanjeev Arora - MP of Rajya Sabha from Punjab has resigned. His resignation has been accepted by the Chairman of Rajya Sabha.
MPs resign by writing to the presiding officer of the House. It is the Constitutional Duty of the Presiding Officer to look into the merit of the Resignation and make sure that its voluntary in nature. The presiding officer, if he wants, can order and inquiry into the matter.

A member can submit a notice under Rule 267 to the Chairman of Rajya Sabha. It is the discretion of the Chairman to accept or reject the notice. If the notice is accepted under Rule 267, the business of the House is suspended and discussion on an important matter of national importance takes place throughout the day.
Opposition in Rajya Sabha has moved a notice under Rule 267 to discuss Operation Sindoor.

2. The coaching culture and pressure adds to the toxicity.
3. Parents, students, and teachers tie a lot of importance to the results.
4. UPSC is not the end of the road. People on the other side of UPSC are not fully happy either.
5. Try for UPSC. If you're able to clear it - good, if not, you're no less. You're a bright person, just that you need to utilise your potential somewhere else.
