US has imposed 25% tariff on Indian goods. This will make Indian goods costlier in US making Indian Goods un-attractive.

Response action of India to US Tariffs:
1. Strengthening of BRICS mechanism and push for De-Dollarization.
2. Greater South -South Cooperation with emerging economies to counter the hegemony of US at the global forums.
3. Restrictions on US tech apps in India - India is the largest market for Meta, Google, X, Amazon.
4. Quad will be impacted with these actions. Rather, develop reformed multilateralism with Japan, Australia and other like minded countries.
5. Revive RIC - Russia, India, China grouping to further counter the hegemonic tendencies of US.
6. Greater penetration in Europe. Europe has been a traditional ally of US, but the rift in NATO is evident and visible. France and Germany are leading the movement to reduce the reliance of Europe on US.

1. US wants to put pressure on India to give in for the trade deal. India, China, and Russia are the only 3 countries that don't give 2 cents about the US pressure.
2. The journalists, activists and other deep state tools will now create a social media buzz about how India is a failed nation.
3. Opposition will use this opportunity to further undermine the authority of India at the global domain.
4. There may be Pakistan sponsored terrorist attacks in the coming weeks to engage India into another conflict with Pakistan, deviate the economy from growth trajectory and then US pressure to sign the deal.
