Digital news is more convenient and often free. It can also be updated instantly, unlike printed pages.

However, the quality of journalism in physical newspapers tends to be more carefully edited and less sensational. Many people trust printed news over online content filled with ads and clickbait.

In my view, physical newspapers will never fully disappear, but they will become more niche — like vinyl records or handwritten letters.

So yes, digital news dominates now, but there’s still a place for printed papers, especially for those who value thoughtful reporting and a quiet, screen-free read.
