For example, we now use AI to make shopping lists, schedule meetings, and even suggest what to eat or watch. These tools save time, but they also mean we’re thinking and planning less for ourselves. Some people even use AI to write messages or complete homework!


This kind of reliance may reduce our creativity, memory, and decision-making skills over time. If we always let machines do the thinking, we may forget how to do it ourselves.

That said, AI is also helping in amazing ways — in medicine, science, and education. It’s not AI that’s the problem, but how we use it. We should treat it as a tool, not a crutch.
