Secondly, space missions inspire people. When a rocket lands on Mars or a telescope shows a distant galaxy, young minds start dreaming bigger. It encourages interest in science, engineering, and problem-solving — fields that are crucial for our planet.

Of course, there are challenges on Earth that need urgent attention, like poverty and climate change. But it’s not a question of “space or Earth.” We can — and should — invest in both. In fact, space research often leads to solutions that help life here on Earth.


In short, space exploration isn’t just about the stars — it’s about progress, discovery, and survival. The cost is high, but the benefits are even greater.

Encouraging children to develop a habit of reading is a shared responsibility between parents and schools. In my opinion, this goal can be achieved by creating a positive reading environment and making books more engaging and accessible.

Firstly, parents play a crucial role by setting a good example. When children regularly see their parents reading books, newspapers, or magazines, they are more likely to view reading as a normal and enjoyable activity. In addition, parents can read together with their children, especially at a young age. For instance, reading bedtime stories not only improves language skills but also strengthens emotional bonds.

Schools also have an important influence. Teachers can encourage reading by allowing students to choose books based on their interests rather than forcing only academic texts. School libraries should be attractive, well-equipped, and regularly updated. Moreover, activities such as book clubs, reading challenges, or short discussions about books can make reading more interactive and fun.

Finally, both parents and schools should limit excessive screen time and replace it with reading opportunities. If children associate books with enjoyment rather than obligation, they are far more likely to read willingly.

Overall, by working together and using creative approaches, parents and schools can successfully motivate children to read more books and develop lifelong learning habits.
