Это пост–поздравление для наших дорогих друзей из Гимназии им. Лазы Костича
Гиназия им. Лазы Костича — одна из самых молодых и активных гимназий Нови-Сада, которая носит имя знаменитого сербского поэта и прозаика Лазы Костича.
Мы дружим и сотрудничаем с гимназией больше 7 лет.
Вместе делали образовательные, просветительские и культурные проекты:
💫 Проводили открытые уроки русского и сербского языков «Учимся вместе», занятия по истории России и физике, олимпиады по творчеству Максима Горького и Михаила Булгакова
💫 Участвовали в научных конференциях и форумах, в фестивале игр «Любимый русский»
💫 Походили педагогическую практику и курсы повышения квалификации
💫 Собирали студентов на Школе переводов «Без границ»
Но наше самое большое и любимое совместное дело — Международный летний лагерь городов побратимов Нижнего Новгорода и Нови-Сада. С 2016 года студенты ННГУ и гимназисты встречались в России или Сербии, чтобы учить языки, знакомиться с культурой и просто дружить.
Связи появлялись и закреплялись надолго. Участники летнего лагеря часто встречались на других мероприятиях, ездили друг к другу в гости.
Мы сердечно поздравляем наших коллег и друзей с 25-летним юбилеем!
Отдельную благодарность выражаем:
Директору гимназии Вукашину Лазовичу за то, что в гимназии мы чувствовали себя как дома, за его заботу и внимание к каждому ученику.
Бессменным преподавателям Милене Алексич, Весне Зечевич за доступные знания и интересные занятия.
Всем сотрудникам гимназии, которые нас кормили, охраняли и относились к нам как к родным.

Везе су се појављивале и ојачале надуго. Учесници летњег кампа су се често сусретали и на другим активностима, долазили су једни код других у госте.
Срдачно честитамо нашим колегама и пријатељима 25-годишњи јубилеј!
Посебно се захваљујемо:

Sincere declaration of love to Lobachevsky University from students of the Institute of International Relations and World History in their native languages
UNN and Xi'an University signed cooperation agreements
Lobachevsky University and Xi'an Electrotechnical University have signed agreements on cooperation in the field of education and science, as well as on academic exchanges of students. The signing procedure took place online on February 14.
The rector of the Lobachevsky University Elena Zagainova and the president of the Xi'an University Zhang Xinliang put their signatures under the documents. As part of the agreements signed, the universities plan to hold conferences, scientific seminars, develop academic mobility, double degree programs, summer and winter schools, and participate in joint research projects.
The implementation of the agreements will start in the near future, and the first academic exchanges will begin as early as next semester.
Xi'an Electrical Engineering University is one of the leading universities in China. It was founded in 1931. Cooperation and exchange of students between Chinese universities and Russian universities began in the 1950s. Over the past few years, about a hundred Russian students have completed training and internships at Xi'an Electrotechnical University

Foreign students of Russian and foreign higher educational institutions studying undergraduate, specialist, master's, postgraduate programs, as well as students of preparatory faculties, students of Russian language courses abroad, high school students of foreign educational organizations can take part in the Olympiad.

Lobachevsky University launched a unique project "Ambassadors of Russian Culture"
The project is dedicated to intercultural interaction between Russian and foreign participants and consists of educational and practical modules. The educational part is aimed at mastering intercultural competence by Russian students, teachers of Russian as a foreign language at the Department of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language of the Institute of Philology and Journalism conduct trainings on the topics “Speak easily and simply!”, “Diversity, equality and inclusion”, “Kaleidoscope of cultures” and prepare future ambassadors of Russian culture to communicate with foreigners.
At the end of February, a series of practical workshops will take place, for the implementation of which unique parcels were sent to the Republic of Serbia. 40 students of Isidora Sekulich Gymnasium (Novi Sad, Serbia) received individual boxes with books, nesting dolls, Russian traditional games and much more, and now they are waiting for an online meeting with their new Russian friends to learn more about Russia, the Russian mentality people and Russian culture.

UNN chemists help to phase out plastic packaging
Scientists at Lobachevsky University have developed a biopolymer based on starch and chitosan, which is highly biocompatible and hypoallergenic. According to UNN chemists, this biopolymer can become a new eco-trend and replace similar foreign products.
"The packaging made from this biopolymer resembles soft foam plastic but is completely biodegradable. The composite is recycled in less than a month by the common mold fungus, which makes the new material an environmentally friendly alternative to polystyrene, and will help reduce plastic waste," explained Ekaterina Kachalova, postgraduate student at the UNN Department of High-Molecular Compounds and Colloidal Chemistry who is a co-author of the project.
In 2023, Lobachevsky University researchers patented the starch and chitosan synthesis technology.Modified starch and chitosan dissolved in acid are combined with a crosslinking agent such as formaldehyde, and foamed. By controlling the process at different stages, materials with desired properties can be produced.
By making the material solid and insoluble in water, UNN chemists have created a sorbent for industrial water treatment to remove metal and non-metal ions. The material can be reused, allowing not only safe disposal but also more cost-efficient production.
According to the scientists, depending on the synthesis conditions, starch and chitosan can also be used to produce absorbent medical materials, water-holding agents for agriculture and nutrient media for growing plants without soil.

Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the Lobachevsky University Alexander Bedny held a traditional meeting with an active group of international students.
The participants of the meeting discussed the plan of upcoming events, which are scheduled for the spring semester. The meeting focused on opportunities for foreign students in the field of social activities. UNN has such communities as the International Student Club, the Association of Student Self-Government of Hostels, the Lobachevsky Volunteer movement, national associations and the Program of Social Initiatives for Foreign Students “I care – I can”.
Answering the questions of foreign students, Alexander Bedny urged all those present to actively participate in the life of the University and make proposals for the implementation of ideas and projects, thereby improving their skills and realizing their personal potential. At the end of the meeting, Alexander Bedny thanked all those present for their active position and made a proposal to hold the next meeting in the near future, at which students could express their proposals.
