Dogecoin price rises despite latest delay of US DOGE ETF launch
Dogecoin’s price rose Friday even as the launch of a US exchange-traded fund (ETF) tied to the memecoin was delayed again, according to a Bloomberg analyst.
According to CoinMarketCap data, Dogecoin increased by nearly 4% over the last 24 hours — reaching $0.2603 at the time of writing. The rise comes despite Bloomberg’s senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas saying Thursday that the launch of a US DOGE ETF is delayed again.

‘Strong chance’ US will form Strategic Bitcoin Reserve this year
There is a high likelihood that the United States government will form the highly anticipated Strategic Bitcoin Reserve by the end of this year, says Galaxy Digital’s head of firmwide research, Alex Thorn.
However, other industry executives are less confident.
“I still think there’s a strong chance the US government will announce this year that it has formed the strategic Bitcoin reserve (SBR) and is formally holding BTC as a strategic asset,” Thorn said in an X post on Thursday.
“Market seems to be completely underpricing the likelihood of such an announcement,” Thorn added.

Pakistan invites global crypto firms to apply for operating licenses
Pakistan has opened the door to international crypto businesses, inviting leading exchanges and virtual asset service providers (VASPs) to apply for licenses under a new federal regime.
On Saturday, the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (PVARA) called on major crypto firms to submit Expressions of Interest (EoIs) to enter the country’s digital asset market, according to a report by local news outlet Dawn.
“This EoI is our invitation to the world’s leading VASPs to partner in building a transparent and inclusive digital financial future for Pakistan,” said Bilal bin Saqib, PVARA chair and minister of state for crypto and blockchain.
