National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) co-organized a " Public Consultation Workshop on Draft Mediation Rules and Code of Conducts for Mediator of National Commercial Arbitration Centre" with the participation from NCAC members, relevant ministries, institutions, law firms, business communities, chambers of commerce, researchers and relevant stakeholders to contribute their input for the betterment of the Draft Mediation Rules and Mediator Code of Conduct of the NCAC at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.

នៅថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលជាតិនៃមជ្ឈត្តការផ្នែកពាណិជ្ជកម្ម (ម.ជ.ម.) បានសហការរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាស្ដីអំពី៖ "ការពិគ្រោះយោបល់ជាសាធារណៈទៅលើវិធានស្ដីពីសន្ធានកម្ម និងក្រមសីលធម៌របស់សន្ធានករ" ជាមួយសាជីវកម្មហរិញ្ញវត្ថុអន្តរជាតិ (IFC) ដោយមានការគាំទ្រពី Swiss Cooperation Office and Consular Agency នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា (Swiss Confederation)។ ការពិគ្រោះយោបល់នេះផងដែរមានការអញ្ជើញចូលរួមពីសំណាក់អ្នកចូលរួមជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ សរុបចំនួន ១៥០ រូប ដែលបានផ្ដល់ធាតុចូលមួយចំនួនទៅលើសេចក្ដីព្រាងវិធានស្ដីពីសន្ធានកម្ម និងក្រមសីលធម៌សម្រាប់សន្ធានកររបស់ ម.ជ.ម. នៅសណ្ឋាគារ ហៃយ៉ាតរីជិនស៊ី ភ្នំពេញ។

On 22 February 2023 National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) co-organized a " Public Consultation Workshop on Draft Mediation Rules and Code of Conducts for Mediator of National Commercial Arbitration Centre" with the support from Swiss Cooperation Office and Consular Agency in Cambodia (Swiss Confederation). There was a total of 150 participants who attended this workshop, as well as contributed their input to the Draft Mediation Rules and Mediator Code of Conduct of the NCAC at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.

Panel Discussion: Roles of Business and Professional Associations in Contributing to Dispute Resolution Landscape
National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) co-organized a Panel Discussion on the Roles of Business and Professional Association in Contributing to Dispute Resolution Landscape with the participation of Representative from Business and Professional Associations, such as:
Arb. SAN Kiri, President of the NCAC
Mr. Tassilo BRINZER, Chairman of EuroCham Cambodia
Mr. Anthony GALLIANO, Chairman of AmCham Cambodia
Prof. KONG Phallack, Chair of ADR Committee, ALA Cambodia
Att. AN Sovathana, Deputy Secretary General of BAKC
Mr. Ruwan HULUGALLE, Chairman of AmCham Law Committee
Mr. Antoine FONTAINE, Vice-chair of CAMFEBA
The panelists shared many experiences and gave feedback based on their perspectives. As discussed, they have played crucial roles in contributing to the dispute resolution landscape in Cambodia. Most of them would highly recommend ADR for future dispute resolution mechanisms. They would do their best helping hand in hand with the NCAC to create an even better business environment for the local and foreign investors so that we can ensure of when they have any dispute arises, they will have a proper venue to address their disputes with fair, confidential, and expeditious proceedings.
The panel discussion was then concluded with the closing remark from Mr. DOUNG Kakada, Operations Officer, of International Finance Corporation in Cambodia, and Arbitrator. SAN Kiri, President of the NCAC.
