Supreme Court Removes Limits on How Much Political Parties Can Spend with Their Candidates
In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court said political parties (like the Republicans or Democrats) can now spend unlimited money working directly with their candidates on ads, mailers, events, etc. This knocks down old rules that capped those “coordinated” expenses.
Why It Matters:
• Parties get more power to help their candidates win.
• Expect more campaign ads and spending in elections.
• Supporters say it’s a big win for free speech (you should be able to promote your ideas). Critics worry it lets wealthy donors and big money have even more influence.
Before: A party could only spend, say, a few million coordinated with a Senate candidate.
Now: The party can now spend whatever it raises directly with the candidate—no cap. Think bigger joint ad campaigns or targeted voter outreach.
Precedent It Sets:
This makes it much harder for future laws to limit party-candidate teamwork. The Court is saying political money = protected speech under the First Amendment.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor reported $88,100 in royalties from Penguin for two children's books she published. She also received concert tickets worth $4,333 from the record company Rimas Entertainment, which is rapper Bad Bunny's record label.

Every time the 4th of July comes around, I am reminded of something very interesting that was stated back in 2020, which I have a unique history with, by pure chance.
David Straight made a claim in 2021 that on July 2, 2020, he rode on Donald Trump JR’s Helicopter with Gene Ho and… JFK Jr. — he says they dropped JFK Jr off on top of Mt Rushmore where Donald Trump was scheduled to speak the next day.
Ironically enough, thanks to all the BONGO parties I have hosted over the years, we had a patriot friend who follows me sent me this video of a person standing on top of George Washington’s head when she went to see President Trump speak on exactly the date… July 2, 2020, the day before President Trump spoke.
Don Jr. has never publicly addressed this, but Gene Ho, President Trump & Don Jr’s personal photographer, and btw Chief Editor of JFK Jr’s George Magazine, kind of addressed it..
May 31, 2022, Gene Ho directly addressed public questions about JFK Jr. and related stories, including those involving David Straight: He called it a “resounding ‘no comment’ on any of that.” He added that there “might come a time that I’ll speak in the future,” but at that point, “anything to do with JFK Jr. is a one hundred percent resounding no comment.”

BUT… the most interesting part is when he actually confirms, “what I can tell you.. is that yes, I was in South Dakota at that time and I was Don Jr’s photographer.

Hell if I know… it’s fun and I love a good conspiracy.. it’s just a very fun and interesting piece of history I am uniquely part of and reminded of every 4th of July.

Every time the 4th of July comes around, I am reminded of something very interesting that was stated back in 2020, which I have a unique history with, by pure chance.
David Straight made a claim in 2021 that on July 2, 2020, he rode on Donald Trump JR’s Helicopter with Gene Ho and… JFK Jr. — he says they dropped JFK Jr off on top of Mt Rushmore where Donald Trump was scheduled to speak the next day.
Ironically enough, thanks to all the BONGO parties I have hosted over the years, we had a patriot friend who follows me sent me this video of a person standing on top of George Washington’s head when she went to see President Trump speak on exactly the date… July 2, 2020, the day before President Trump spoke.
Don Jr. has never publicly addressed this, but Gene Ho, President Trump & Don Jr’s personal photographer, and btw Chief Editor of JFK Jr’s George Magazine, kind of addressed it..
May 31, 2022, Gene Ho directly addressed public questions about JFK Jr. and related stories, including those involving David Straight: He called it a “resounding ‘no comment’ on any of that.” He added that there “might come a time that I’ll speak in the future,” but at that point, “anything to do with JFK Jr. is a one hundred percent resounding no comment.”
