Of the 1 million votes cast in the election:
-7% were from nonexistent records
-6% had fake Social Security Numbers
-10% do not live in New York
-1% had no Social Security Number at all
That totals 228,000 votes.
Mamdani's margin of victory was 207,570.
How convenient.

Senate successfully voted to hold Fauci In Contempt…
My attitude is… meh 🫤 ok, the citation itself carries no direct legal penalty. It’s just a path to open up 3 more paths..
1. Criminal contempt, where the facts are sent to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. That official’s duty is to then present the matter to a grand jury. The DOJ retains prosecutorial discretion, where they can decline to pursue cases.
2. Civil enforcement:
Congress can sue in federal court seeking a judgment that the person must comply with the subpoena.
3. Inherent contempt, where The House or Senate Sergeant-at-Arms can arrest the person and bring them before the chamber, which can then detain them until they comply or until the end of the congressional session. This power was last exercised in 1935. Would be cool.. but meh
So yeah… meh. See what happens.

Our founding fathers had no interest in making voting "easy". In fact, originally only landowners were allowed to vote, and that didn't broadly change until the 1820s.
I am not a time traveler, but I am pretty sure, based upon their writings, if you went back to Jefferson or Adams and suggested that obtaining a free identification card was a serious suffrage issue, they would laugh in your face until they passed out.
Mail voting, early voting - they do nothing but allow people who care nothing for the privilege and honor of voting to still cast a vote, and the sacrifices made by others to give them that right.
So those of you who are clutching your pearls that simple things like proper identification and verifiable voter rolls will "disenfranchise" people and make it harder for them to vote ... good. Wonderful. Voting is a privilege and if you aren't willing to walk out in a snowstorm to cast your vote, we don't want it. Stay home.
