Pflugerville, Texas just killed its Flock Safety contract unanimously after a resident filed a public records request and found 459 outside law enforcement agencies had run 1.6 million searches on the city's 28 cameras in six months. Local police ran 5,078. That's 315 outside searches for every one by Pflugerville PD. The city had told residents nationwide data sharing was turned off. The city manager ordered the lenses physically covered before the council even voted. Pflugerville joins 56 municipalities that have cut ties with Flock in 2026.
My Take
One resident with a public records form did what the city, the police department, and Flock either couldn't or didn't want to do. That's how thin the oversight was on a system searching 1.6 million plates. Nobody was auditing this. Nobody was checking whether the assurances they gave residents were true. It took a guy filing paperwork to find out.
56 cities have walked away from Flock this year and I think that number accelerates once other communities realize they can file the same request. Flock has $500 million in VC money and contracts in 4,000 cities, and civil liberties groups say under 1% of scanned plates ever connect to a crime. Pflugerville's police chief looked at his own data and wouldn't recommend keeping the contract. Every city still running these cameras is one records request away from finding out what their own ratio looks like, and most of them haven't asked yet.

4. Noncitizens are not only on the voter rolls, some of them are voting in our elections.
Elections for federal office MUST BE ABOVE REPROACH. They must be absolutely and completely SECURE in the manner in which they are being conducted.
That has NOT BEEN HAPPENING, no matter what some asshole like Chris Krebs when he was at CISA, or Gavin Newsom or that prick that runs ERIC claims to you.

Rob Burnside, the former principal of Lakota East High (@EAST_HAWKS) in Ohio, was REMOVED from his position after he housed a 16-year-old homeless student so he could keep attending school.
The teen’s home life was unstable, and he was forced to sleep in a car. His dad’s trailer didn’t have heat, and his mom moved outside the district.
When Rob found out, he took the boy into his home so he could continue attending school.
When the school found out, they threatened Rob with termination.
The student offered to leave the school and his home to protect Rob's job, but Rob REFUSED.
Rob decided NOT to cave to the school's threats, and sacrificed his career to continue supporting Hayes.
Rob and his wife are now Hayes' legal guardians.
Rob and his wife have 6 other children, including 2 adopted ones.
The boy has since graduated and is now working toward becoming an aviation mechanic.

Campus after campus is a one-party town.
Surveys show something like 77 out of 80 professors vote Democrat.
Then they act shocked when the kids come out talking like junior commissars.
Maher called it what it is: indoctrination instead of education.
No perspective on Western civilization.
No tolerance for a conservative voice.
Plenty of Marx on the syllabus.
The president said most faculty aren’t trying to brainwash anyone.

When one side owns the faculty lounge, the classroom, and the speaker list, you don’t need a conspiracy.
You just need a monopoly.
