Pennsylvania Forces Communities to Rezone Homes and Farmland for Data Centers 😡😡😡

Under state law, Pennsylvania municipalities cannot block certain developments, including data centers, forcing towns to rezone residential and agricultural land for industrial use. Townships claiming no industrial space must now convert homes and farmland to meet state requirements.

🚨 Major fire at the historic Floyd County Courthouse in Rome, Georgia — What did they want destroyed?

The 134-year-old building caught fire around 2:12–2:20 p.m. ET yesterday, with the iconic bell tower collapsing. The structure is now deemed a total loss.

This location housed Property tax payments, tag/vehicle registrations, homestead exemptions.

- Cause: Still under investigation by the Rome-Floyd Fire Department. The building was undergoing a $4 million renovation (brick/gutter work started this month),

It housed the Floyd County Tax Commissioner’s office, Tax Assessor’s office, and Tag Office. Stored items included:
— Property tax records and assessments (real estate valuations, personal property tax returns).
— Motor vehicle tag/registration documents and payments.
— Homestead exemption applications, address changes, and related administrative paperwork.

The county says the majority of items stored here were scanned and digitized, though some paper records were likely lost. lol I bet…
