✨ Academic Wellness Updates ✨
Big news, NTU undergraduates! 📚💡
After months of consultations, surveys, and advocacy, NTUSU’s proposal for New Academic Assessment Guidelines has been implemented ✅
Here’s what this means for you:
⭐️ Class Scheduling – no regular lessons on Saturdays, Recess Week, and Reading Week (subject to approved exceptions); optional attendance for make-up and revision classes.
⭐️ Quizzes & Assignments – no regular
quizzes during Recess or Reading Week; assignment deadlines set with adequate preparation time.
⭐️ Examinations – schools shall avoid scheduling multiple core exams on the same day; exams shall be held in Weeks 15 & 16.
⭐️ Attendance & Class Participation – more flexibility and breathing space for in-class participation
These changes were shaped by your voices 🗣️ and turned into real impact by NTUSU. Together, we’re building a culture of care, these wins are yours 💙
