M.Y Strong Readers @ Home is a weekly 10-session literacy programme for primary school children from low-income families.

We are seeking volunteers who:
✅ have a passion for teaching, enjoy reading and bonding with children
✅ aged 17 and above
✅ female volunteers preferred

First term will run from end Feb to early May. Sessions will take place in the homes of the beneficiaries, located at either:
📍Choa Chu Kang at 6:30pm on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays, or
📍Ang Mo Kio at 3pm on Wednesdays.

NTU WSC VM x CFG Soap and Support is a carwash fundraiser that aims to raise funds for the Children’s Aid Society (CAS). All funds raised will go directly to CAS and will be used to support children and youths who have have experienced adverse life circumstances such as abuse or neglect. Funds raised will go towards residential care, after-school education and specialised therapy programmes.

Let's Hike is Change Our World's annual hike with our migrant domestic worker (MDW) community in Singapore. Our goal is for volunteers to have conversations and hear about their lived experiences, and also to help every participant have a great time. 🎯 Role of the Volunteer:

- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean windows and window grills

Fei Yue FSC (Choa Chu Kang) is organising a community work programme to foster emotional resilience among children aged 10-12 years old and their parents.

& we are looking for *VOLUNTEERS MENTORS* 🫵

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Work with fellow mentors in group of 2-3 with 3-4 children per group
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children through regular engagement
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued and heard

If you have the capacity, you may even take up *additional roles* such as:
1. Planner:
- Plan 2 outings and 1 family outings for children and parents
2. Photo-& Videographer:
- Capture the moments of the children's and parents' experience in the programme
3. Evaluator:
- Support in data analysis and programme evaluation to provide fresh insights for future programming planning purposes

*Commitment Required (End May - September):*
- Attend 1 Volunteer interview on either 11/17 April or 5./9 May*
- Attend 1 volunteer training on 23 May, 2-5pm
- Key engagement period with children and parents will be from June to September
*you will need to sign up at least 3 days before your desired date of interview to allow sufficient scheduling time
