Justin Sun has launched his own “Nobel-style” mathematics prize — the Justin Sun Prize.
The award of up to $1 million is not given once a year, but after a specific problem is solved: to the person who solved it and to the person who translated the proof into machine-verifiable code. That can be a human, a team, an AI, or all of them together.
At launch, 66 problems have been recognized. The list will be expanded.
The first top prize ($1 million) was awarded to the OpenAI team for the existence and smoothness problem of the three-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations. The formalization was done by GPT-6 Astra.
