The main focus is, of course, working with soft tissues. In this lesson, Dr. Mauro Bazzoli explains in detail how the choice between shoulder and shoulderless abutments affects gum behavior and the final aesthetic result.
Recommandation from Dr. Bazzoli
During the fitting of the temporary crown, mark the gum line on the crown. Then remove the crown and trim off any excess material that goes beyond the marked line. The crown should go into the soft tissue by 0.5–0.8 mm below the gum line
