Just a few years ago, removing an implant was an exception.
Today — for many clinicians, it has become a standard part of their practice.
Inflammation.
Bone loss.
Pain.
Disappointed patients.
In most of these cases, the problem is not with the implant itself, or even the system.
🔍 The problem starts earlier.
With an incorrect or superficial diagnosis.
When the following are not properly considered:
• Periodontal status
• Tissue biotype
• Occlusion
• Systemic and behavioral factors
• The true reason for tooth loss
⚠️ Until we honestly answer the question of why the tooth was lost, we will continue… removing implants.
