The Habsburg Hall was directly situated under the dome of the palace.

The top of the dome was decorated with a crown of St. Stephen. The picture shows the stonemasons who were standing against the background of their work.

They look very small for crown made for a giant…

This building once used to decorate the street which led from the Military Ministry towards St. Matthias Church. After the war, its facade was reconstructed in a simplified manner, in order to match the spirit of the architecture of 18-th century.
