This coming Monday night we step into Week 3 of our series:
The Acts that Secure Title.

So far we’ve explored something most people never hear explained clearly…

How title and use became separated, and how that separation eventually gave rise to trusts.

But once that separation existed, a new question naturally followed.

What happens when the person who holds intention is not present to speak?

Maybe they are traveling.
Maybe they are sick.
Maybe they simply aren't there when a decision needs to be made.

And sometimes… someone dies.

This is where wills enter the story.

Most people only hear the phrase Last Will and Testament and assume a will is something written at the end of life.

But historically a will is something much broader.

A will is simply the expression of intention — written in such a way that it can continue speaking even when the person who formed that intention is not present.

When intention is clear, responsibility can continue peacefully.

When intention is unclear… confusion usually follows.

On Monday night we’ll explore:

• Where wills actually came from
• Why equity recognized expressed intention
• How written intention stabilizes responsibility
• And why learning to express your will clearly is one of the most practical things a person can do.

Seizure.
Accusation.
Trial.

This is where boundaries are drawn.

you won’t recognize when they’ve been crossed.
