An attacker has begun sending spam transactions, filling the transaction pool, and causing high CPU usage on most nodes due to transaction validation.
A simple solution to mitigate this issue is to reduce the transaction pool size to 100. Please open your config.toml file and locate the tx_pool section. Under this section, change the max_size value to 100. Save the config and restart the node.
In the meantime, we are actively seeking a permanent fix for this problem by improving node performance.
