Check if your university participates in the Google PhD Fellowship Program.
Review internal nomination guidelines issued by your department or graduate office.
Prepare required materials such as research summary, academic records, and publications.
Submit your application to your university before the internal deadline.
Wait for internal shortlisting and nomination decision.
If nominated, your university submits your application to Google Research.
